Ingredients

½ medium-sized avocado

150 ml coconut milk

200 ml coconut water

½ cup frozen banana/mango or pineapple

1 cup spinach/kale

1 tsp fresh grated ginger

Juice of ½ lemon/lime

½ cup diced cucumber

½ cup diced celery

A bunch of mint leaves

Pinch of pepper

Method

  1. Use Juicer or use a normal blender to press out juice from spinach/kale, cucumber, celery, lime and ginger.
  2. Then if using a blender strain juice through a sieve to get rid of fibres if you want a smooth non-fibrous drink (optional).
  3. Then add juice back to rinsed out blender and add, avocado, mango/banana/pineapple, mint, pepper, coconut water, coconut milk and blend until smooth and well combined ±2 min.

Notes

If you have a juicer, you can juice ingredients listed in the first step and blend everything in the blender to make up your smoothie.
