250 g of pitted dates
85 g of chia seeds
55 g of Chopped Almonds
2 tbsp of cocoa powder
2 tbsp coconut oil, ¼ cup desiccated coconut
Process dates, cacao powder, almonds, chia seed in a food processor until almost smooth and well combined (2 min).
Oil hands with coconut oil and need mixture to prevent dough from sticking to hands. Roll 5-8 g balls and roll in the coating of choice. I used desiccated coconut.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
This recipe gives you that hit of energy you need and prevents refined sugar cravings and fluctuations of blood sugar levels.
Flavours can be changed by keeping the base the same but changing the coatings of bliss balls: Matcha, cocoa and chopped nuts.
